Better cushioning, better energy return, lightness and
longevity in a running shoe.
Does it look familiar to you? You are forgiven for thinking
that this is the marketing talk for adidas Boost, when in fact these are the
responses Nike claims to have received when they asked runners what they expect
from a running shoe. It's probably true, who wouldn't want those things, but we
also have to take our hats off to adidas and their ever-popular Boost shoe released
five years ago. Which, combined with the stealthy and clever marketing efforts
of German brands, forced Nike to "react" with a very, very similar
shoe. Nothing like a healthy little competition. techqueer
The result is Nike React foam cushioning that was
launched in basketball in June 2017.
For the road-friendly version, however, Nike will launch the
Epic React Flyknit shoe in February, delivering the soft cushioning feel you'd
expect from the foam, but then quickly returning to its original shape as it
provides a return of energy. digitalknowledgetoday
On the edge of the React foam is the upper part of the
shoe that features a sculpted forefoot,
toe box and arch thanks to the one-piece Nike Flyknit liner
(which is inspired by the legendary Nike Flyknit Racer, an all-time favorite of
Ape). sneakers): this ensures adequate support, flexibility and breathability
when needed. It is a minimalist design and fits the foot but still provides
support - a good match in our eyes. healthnutritionhints
Nike tells us that elite and everyday runners have tested
Nike React technology for over 17,000
running miles, this combined with over 400 chemistry and
treatment combinations, and using scientific methods to refine materials with
certain attributes. And you can be sure that Nike has triumphed with this shoe,
as they almost always do with their new big high-end releases. Our only
complaint: The one-piece foam midsole is quite high, but Nike suggests that it
has to be this way to avoid the "base" and that it is wider to
provide a strong enough base. smartdiethealth
A pillow-shaped shoe that is lightweight yet offers good
support and efficient energy return?
Looks like a winner. Yes, adidas came long before Nike, but
the new Nike Epic React Flyknit is just as impressive, if not as attractive, as
adidas' efforts. The Nike Epic React Flyknit will be available on February 22
at nike.com and at select retailers or £ 130. We can't wait to hear your comment
and test the shoe for durability. healthfitnesschampion
